was interviewed! http://petsandauthors.blogspot.com/ and then Woof! come back to me!  Favorite Non-profit and Charitable Causes 1. Moon Angels in Orange County, CA. This org. helps people--and families--who deal with the hardships of Cancer.
2. Zara's List of pet adoption. My dog and best gal-pal, Corley 'adopted' me from Zara's list! 3. Daughters of the American Revolution, beloved in American culture as "the D.A.R." D.A.R. earnestly supports many good causes, especially historic preservation, good citizenship and R.O.T.C programs at schools across the nation. PLACES 1. San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California: These are the mountains where I am a long-time resident. A community I like to shop at is Big Bear Lake, a four-season resort community that has myriad boutiques. In Big Bear Village there's a cozy shop that has an exquisite selection of home decor and specialty gift items and offers customer service with true mountain hospitality. The shop is called CEDAR ROSE LANE and I had the pleasure of shopping there today (November 24th, 2009). Not only did I find a hard-to-locate replacement lamp bulb for a candle-warmer lamp, I found exactly the kind of Holy Family Nativity figurines I was searching for. Many thanks to the store's helpful and friendly employee Jan who was a joy to do business with! Visit this shop Online: www.cedarroselane.com2. Gettysburg, PA. Visiting the National Civil War Battleground, especially the Irish Brigade Monument. and... Lodging at the 1940's era Quite The Stir Bungalow B&B (visit this marvelous bungalow: www.QuiteTheStir.com)3. Vicksburg, MS. Everything in V-burg is charming! Try lodging at the Cherry Street Cottages. 4. NOLA (New Orleans). Visiting during Halloween! 5. St. Peter's Parish Church in New Kent Co., VA. (my family helped to build this church in 1700-01). 6. Petersburg, VA...try the old town for antique shopping. 7. San Diego, Calif... so much to do! 8. Morey Mansion in Redlands, CA...this is the house that is pictured on the cover of book 1: A Ghost of a Chance and serves as a model for Blackthorne House. 9. Catalina Island, CA., Avalon is the location setting for book 2 in my series: A Ghost From the Shadows. more to come...... Food, Entertainment and Music Italian and Mexican food. Movies Western: Tombstone (with Val Kilmer and Kurt Russell). Romance: A Walk in the Clouds Southern: Cold Mountain Patriotic: The Patriot Horror: The Bride (with Sting) Mystery: BBC's Agatha Christie productions TV Favs: Amazing Race Rosemary and Thyme (have to rent these on Netflix). Fringe love the old X-Files. Favorite Activities Walks in the forest where I live. Ghost/Haunted tours. Geneaology Shopping for Antiques GeoCaching, especially in rural areas and countrysides. Making fruit jams and pickle relishes. Music George
