Elizabeth's Shannon Delaney paranormal mystery series:
In book 1: A
GHOST OF A CHANCE and book 2: A GHOST FROM THE SHADOWS Elizabeth used many elements
of history to bring the story to life, including the study of late-nineteenth century sleight-of-hand magic, Victorian architecture,
Craftsman bungalow architecture, and details regarding California’s founding Hispanic culture.
In the newest book: Book 3: A GHOST MEETS AN ANGEL Elizabeth
used elements from her own Southern ancestry to add historical details to the story. In fact, the "Ghost Angel"
on the cover is from a photo taken by Elizabeth's husband, Christopher when they were on a Halloween ghost tour in Natchez,
Mississippi. Using this connection with the fact that the Old West town of Julian - in the mountain region of eastern San
Diego County, California - was pioneered by Southerners after the War Between the States, Elizabeth weaves a tale that marries
Southern history with California history and the lore of rare books, hidden treasure and conjuring (Old West style magic).
Elizabeth is a member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution
